Luke from Beaches Scaly Beasts has been adding logs to his black-headed monitor enclosure a little at a time. This is the version he shared on September 17, with a large, twisting hollow log as the newest addition.

The log sits among smaller branches in front of a woodland photographic backdrop. Its curves and openings stand out in both photos, and you can see the monitors on the wood. We liked getting a closer look at this stage of the enclosure as Luke adds to it.

Thanks, Luke, for letting us share your photos and the story behind this update. You can follow Beaches Scaly Beasts on Facebook or Instagram.
